Deuteronomium 2:30

SV	Maar Sihon, de koning van Hesbon, wilde ons door hetzelve niet laten doortrekken; want de HEERE, uw God, verhardde zijn geest, en verstokte zijn hart, opdat Hij hem in uw hand gave, gelijk het is te dezen dage.
WLC	וְלֹ֣א אָבָ֗ה סִיחֹן֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ חֶשְׁבֹּ֔ון הַעֲבִרֵ֖נוּ בֹּ֑ו כִּֽי־הִקְשָׁה֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ אֶת־רוּחֹ֗ו וְאִמֵּץ֙ אֶת־לְבָבֹ֔ו לְמַ֛עַן תִּתֹּ֥ו בְיָדְךָ֖ כַּיֹּ֥ום הַזֶּֽה׃ ס
Trans.	wəlō’ ’āḇâ sîḥōn meleḵə ḥešəbwōn h^a‘ăḇirēnû bwō kî-hiqəšâ JHWH ’ĕlōheyḵā ’eṯ-rûḥwō wə’immēṣ ’eṯ-ləḇāḇwō ləm^a‘an titwō ḇəyāḏəḵā kayywōm hazzeh:

AC	ל ולא אבה סיחן מלך חשבון העברנו בו כי הקשה יהוה אלהיך את רוחו ואמץ את לבבו למען תתו בידך כיום הזה {ס}
ASV	But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as at this day.
BE	But Sihon, king of Heshbon, would not let us go through; for the Lord your God made his spirit hard and his heart strong, so that he might give him up into your hands as at this day.
Darby	But Sihon the king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obdurate, that he might give him into thy hand, as it is this day.
ELB05	Aber Sihon, der König von Hesbon, wollte uns nicht bei sich durchziehen lassen; denn Jehova, dein Gott, hatte seinen Geist verhärtet und sein Herz verstockt, auf daß er ihn in deine Hand gäbe, wie es an diesem Tage ist.
LSG	Mais Sihon, roi de Hesbon, ne voulut point nous laisser passer chez lui; car l'Eternel, ton Dieu, rendit son esprit inflexible et endurcit son coeur, afin de le livrer entre tes mains, comme tu le vois aujourd'hui.
Sch	Aber Sihon, der König zu Hesbon, wollte uns nicht durch sein Land ziehen lassen; denn der HERR, dein Gott, hatte seinen Geist hartnäckig gemacht und sein Herz verbittert, daß er ihn in deine Hand gebe, wie es heute der Fall ist.
